Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Quality Control Executive to join our production site team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of raw materials and finished products. You will work closely with production and R&D teams to test key parameters such as NPK content, moisture, pH, EC, and micronutrients using standard laboratory equipment.

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and optimization-driven intern to support our production team by analyzing and improving manufacturing processes. This is a field-based role requiring at least 5 days per week at the production site in Kampong Thom province.

You will work closely with our dedicated local team to:

  • Study production flows
  • Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Measure and calculate process capacities
  • Propose and test improvements
  • Assist with the implementation of more efficient production methods

Background

Husk Ventures Cambodia, under the SWITCH-Asia initiative titled «Accelerating Sustainability in Cambodia’s Agri-Food System (ASCA)«, under EU fund, with the consortium with PIN and FNN, is seeking collaboration with an agricultural research institution, university, or qualified private firm to conduct controlled crop trials. The objective is to evaluate the impact of Husk’s organic and organominerals fertilizer products on plant growth, soil health, and yield performance across multiple crop types in Cambodia.

Trials Objectives

  • To evaluate the impact of Husk’s products (ONIX N, ONIX K,, Nutri+, CBF+, BlackGold) on crop growth, yield, and soil health.
  • To identify the most effective application rates and combinations compared to conventional farmer practice.
  • To support the development of demonstration farm models based on trial results.

Crops and Locations

The trials will be conducted on the following crops:

  • Rice (Phka Rumduol, Sen KraOb) – Deadline: November 2025
  • Chinese Kale (horticulture) – Deadline: October 2025
  • Cashew and Coffee – Deadline: March 2026

Trials can be conducted on institutional plots or farmers’ land under institutional supervision.

Scope of Work

The selected institution will:

  • Design and implement field trials using Husk’s protocols.
  • Conduct trials on:
    • Rice (Sen KraOb and Phkar Rumduol): target harvest by November 2025
    • Chinese Kale: target harvest by October 2025
    • Cashew and Coffee: results due by March 2026
  • Facilitate trials on institutional control plots or local farmers’ land under supervision.
  • Apply treatments according to provided protocols, with replication and control.
  • Measure soil health, plant growth, yield, and perform cost-benefit analysis.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and treatment comparison.

Methodology

All trials must adhere to attached experimental protocols, including:

  • Randomized block design with specified replications
  • Control vs. treatment comparisons
  • Soil sampling (pre and post-harvest)
  • Crop-specific growth and yield indicators
  • Economic performance evaluation (cost of inputs vs. yield revenue)

Timeline

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled ERP Manager to lead the ongoing implementation and integration of our Odoo ERP system. While the primary responsibility will be overseeing the ERP project, the role also involves being the IT referent within the company. The ideal candidate will have knowledge on ERP implementation, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work closely with all departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the ERP system.

The role is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, but will require periodic travel to Vietnam to support the ERP implementation there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and oversee the Husk Group’s IT-ERP department, ensuring alignment with the Group’s development strategy and compliance with directives from the Board of Directors.
  • Lead the Odoo ERP implementation. Cooperate with Group CFO in designing the master-data, user authorization, system work flow, financial and management reporting.
  • Maintain proper IT Independence and Application control. Timely report the violation and audit trails.
  • Lead the company’s BI and Report Automation Project. Generating visible and real time financial and management reports using BI Tools such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address issues and implement new requirements in the ERP system, optimizing its efficiency and functionality.
  • Work with both domestic and international experts to resolve challenges related to ERP system operations.
  • Design and implement new applications to enhance processes across the entire company.
  • Maintain information security and ensure the stable performance of IT infrastructure and equipment.
  • Deliver IT services to all units and employees in the organization, ensuring timely, efficient, secure, and compliant operations.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a similar role within large enterprises utilizing ERP systems, experiencing in the same industry is a plus.
  • Experience with ODOO system implementation
  • Demonstrate strong English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with domestic and international stakeholders.
  • Display proficiency in teamwork, independent work, effective presentation, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Have hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, ASP.Net Core Web API, and expertise in databases such as MS SQL, MySQL and OLAB.
  • Embody a professional attitude characterized by integrity, responsibility, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence.
